Mod 1960s mini shift dress in true navy blue crepe with ruffled, lacy neck jabot and cuffs in cream. Bust and elbow darts, princess seams. Unlined. Metal Murlen back zip with top hook&eye. The schoolgirl styling reminds us of Wednesday Addams. Union made in the U.S.A. From the Wold Collection.
Labels: only the 1963-74 ILGWU label and size tag remain
Fiber/Care: unmarked, mid-weight woven synthetic crepe (probably rayon), dry-cleaning recommended
Condition: there's some inconspicuous foxing on the cream ruffled areas (see photo), one loop of lace at the back of the left wrist is discolored, there's an inconspicuous glitch in the fabric at the side/back waist (see photo) -- was only noticed under the bright photography lights and doesn't show while wearing. We've stitched closed a few areas of open seam. Price adjusted accordingly.
*We've had this shift dress professionally dry-cleaned and it's ready to wear.*
